6-week Poetry Chapbook
with Lisa Donovan

Let's put it all together! In this class we'll look at themes and connecting threads in your existing work, write new poems that correspond with your evolving collection, and workshop and revise toward solidifying a distinctive body of work. Participating writers will leave with a chapbook of poems that they can share with friends and family or submit to publications and contests.

For those looking to publish a full-length manuscript of poems, this class will jumpstart that longer process.

Lisa Donovan is the author of Red of Split Water, from Trembling Pillow Press. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Denver's Creative Writing Program, a M.F.A. from Brown University's Literary Arts Program, and studied with Dean Young, Tessa Rumsey, and James Galvin as an undergraduate at the University of Iowa. Dr. Donovan currently teaches at Trinidad State Junior College and has taught at the University of Denver and Brown University, among others.
