Poetry: a 6-Week Immersion with Elizabeth Robinson
Designed for poets of all levels, this 6-week immersion with renowned poet Elizabeth Robinson explores the dual joys of writing and editing.
Through in-class exercises and readings of contemporary poetry, writers will experiment with voice, craft, and technique to generate fresh new poems. We'll respond to each other's work in a supportive group setting and receive detailed individual feedback from our peers and instructor. Finally, as our body of work builds, we'll create a distinctive group of poems that speak to each other as an interlocking manuscript.
A unique opportunity to develop your work with a master poet and mentor.
Elizabeth Robinson is the author of 12 volumes of poetry, including On Ghosts, a 2013 finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Award. A winner of the National Poetry Series and the Fence Modern Poets Prize, Robinson has taught as a Hugo Fellow at the University of Montana, at the University of Colorado, Naropa University, and the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
