Personal Essay & Memoir:
Writing Motherhood

It’s the oldest job on the planet, and possibly the hardest. And yet every woman’s experience is totally unique, and largely untold.

In this monthly series, we’ll come together to read personal narratives by contemporary female authors (i.e., writers who are also moms), ranging from the funny to the philosophical. We’ll use our readings to inspire our own writing, whether it’s a journal documenting our day-to-day experience, or the beginnings of an essay or memoir. Each month, we’ll discuss our work and the directions it may take in a supportive, small group setting.

If you’ve ever thought that what happens between dinner and bedtime could fill a book, this workshop is for you.

All levels welcome. Limited to 6 participants.
