Children's Literature:
Make your MG/YA Novel Soar!
w/Lija Fisher

In this one-day workshop, we'll explore in depth the Middle Grade and Young Adult genres so your story can pop. Agents and editors look for very specific things when it comes to these books, and we'll go over those details that include basics like ages of characters and wordcounts. Then we'll dive deeper into topics such as voice, worldbuilding, first chapter musts, and common mistakes that will sink that soaring story!

This workshop will be followed by a 4-week “Writing the YA/MG Adventure Novel” workshop with Lija Fisher in January.
