FREE COMMUNITY WORKSHOP
Personal Essay: Getting Started
Using a prompt inspired by Cheryl Strayed (Wild; Tiny Beautiful Things) we’ll generate a list of pivotal moments, large and small, drawn from our own lives. We’ll then choose one to explore further, do some writing during class time, and get feedback from the instructor for moving forward. Participants will leave with the beginnings of one personal essay and a fertile list for many more.
An ongoing series, Boulder Writing Studio's Free Community Workshops offer writers a place to discover their voice, explore new forms, and connect with other writers in a supportive community.
Note: We have space for 8 people in this workshop. To reserve your spot, please register with the link above—it’s free!
